Just another wet day at the office
My girlfriend and I visited Cape Verde (via Lisbon) from London in November 2015. We spent a few days in Sal and São Vicente and a week at Tarrafel in Santo Antão and had a great time. Claudia 's parents are from Cape Verde and she had never visited before so it was a good opportunity to experience a little of her heritage.
Travel Service Boeing 737-800 (OK-TSO) performing a short flight (refueling stop/crew change) from Boa Vista ( RABIL ARISTIDES PEREIRA INTL GVBA rwy 03) to Sal (Amílcar Cabral INTL GVAC rwy 01). The flight itself took only about 10 minutes. The cruising altitude was 6000 ft. Final destination: Prague, Vaclav Havel Airport (LKPR). By coincidence, the Czech Gov. Flying Service A319, carrying olympic hopefuls to Rio, made a refueling stop at Sal as well.
