Our dream vacation. What a great place. Enjoy, relax and no stress
Cape Verde was a stopover for ships travelling between Europe and the rest of the world for centuries. It used to be a Portuguese colony, and today still retains the language and cultural affinities with its former overlord. It’s one of the most well developed countries in Africa and it’s also becoming a top tourism destination. You can now support this channel via Patreon, by accessing the link bellow. A short film showing the arrival area (passport Control) and visa payment room in Cape Verde. If you have paid for your visas or have proof you have paid for them before arriving, print it off and bring it with you. I understand some airlines include it in their package, however if it is not included, check with the airline before flying and print it out (if possible). When i was there, a couple of tourists were asked to pay the visa again (25 euros) due to confusion with their particular travel agent and the border control and they were told to claim it back when they arrived home. The Police border / passport control Computers in Sal are not connected up to the UK. Other help on arrival: Taxis from the airport to Santa Maria should be 10 euros by day (2017). Bit more at night. ...
